By introducing young athletes to structured weightlifting, we empower them with knowledge about their bodies and the mechanics of movement. This foundation is essential for those looking to excel in sports and those aiming to maintain general fitness.
Our lifting programs are designed to encourage progression at a comfortable pace, ensuring that each participant gains confidence and competence under the guidance of certified professionals. We believe that with the right training, every young athlete can unlock their potential and achieve greater performance in any field of sport they choose.
Join us this summer for an intensive lifting camp designed to increase strength, power, body awareness, and hypertrophy. The Turlock Sports Park Summer Lifter Camp offers a specialized training regimen led by the esteemed NASM Certified Personal Trainer Alec Schmitt. A former NCAA athlete and gym owner, Alec brings a wealth of experience and insight into performance training at the highest level.

Start: Monday, July 8th, 2024
End: Wednesday, July 31st, 2024
Sessions: Every Monday and Wednesday
Time: 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM (Indoor Night Class)
Location: XX Functional Fitness Gym, 1420 Freitas Park, Turlock
Eligibility: Ages 12 to 17
Camp Highlights:
- Training Focus: Core weightlifting fundamentals tailored for athletes, including Bench Press, Squat, Deadlift, Olympic Clean, and various ballistic and functional movement patterns.
- Instructor: Alec Schmitt, equipped with credentials from NASM, USAW Olympic Weightlifting, All Terrain Conditioning, Strong First SFG Kettlebells, Strong First SFG Bodyweight, and Flexible Steel.
