Shayla Smith

Shayla has been coaching for 7 years. This is her 2nd year at C-Force. Shayla is a Clarksville native and graduated from west creek high school. She is a 3 sport athlete, all district, tournament and regional player in high school and still holds the record for most kills in a season at West Creek High School. She attended Bethel University and Truett McCnnell University. She is a 4 year collegiate starter, co-coference champion freshman year, All freshman team, all conference 1st team twice and all american honorable mention. Shayla achieved over 1,000 kills in college. She is still active playing in adult leagues. Shayla previously coached at Atlanta Extreme, Club Savannah, Hancock day school and West Creek High. Currently, Shayla is the head coach at Kirkwood High. Although she is a middle blocker, she has knowledge of multiple positions and always looks forward to continue working with dedicated athletes and help get them to the next level playing in college. Shayla hopes to continue her love for coaching until she can coach her daughter, Serayah, who is 1.
